"Stunning, both vocally and dramatically" - The Arbutarian

Bergen National Opera and Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra are delighted to collaborate with Bergen International Festival to present a concert performance of Benjamin Britten's great opera Peter Grimes.

OPERA REVOLUTION
Benjamin Britten's opera created a theatrical and musical revolution in England's music - an opera which combined great sweeping orchestral writing with brilliant storytelling and searing vocal lines. Bergen National Opera collaborates with Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and Bergen International Festival to present a concert performance of Peter Grimes with Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra's music director Edward Gardner conducting and a spectacular cast of Britten specialist soloists led by great Australian tenor Stuart Skelton.
