We warmly welcome Cathrine Wyn-Rogers back as Mrs Sedley in Peter Grimes autumn 2019

Mezzo-soprano Catherine Wyn-Rogers studied at the Royal College of Music in London, and continued her studies with Ellis Keeler and Diane Forlano. She has performed in concert with Leonard Slatkin, Bernard Haitink, Sir Andrew Davis, Sir Colin Davis, Gennady Rozhdestvensky and Zubin Mehta, to mention some. She excels in deeper roles like Erda, Filipyevna, Auntie and Mary which have brought her to Bayerische Staatsoper, Valencia, Firenze, Tokyo and Seoul, Royal Opera and English National Opera in London.

Last season (2018/19) included Mérope/Oedipe in Amsterdam and The Mother/The Consul in Cardiff. She is warmly welcomed back as Mrs Sedley in this revival of Peter Grimes.
