Vibeke Kristensen
As Niece 1 the Norwegian soprano Vibeke Kristensen is back in Peter Grimes autumn 2019.
Norwegian soprano Vibeke Kristensen trained at the Norwegian Academy of Music and the Royal Danish Opera Academy. She excels in Mozart operas and made a thrilling Susanna in the Marriage of Figaro in 2009 with the Bergen National Opera. Recent highlights include First Lady in the Magic Flute at the operas in Kristiansund, Ringsaker and Nordfjordeid, and Zerlina in Don Giovanni and Susanna for the Danish National Opera. Her Adele in Die Fledermaus in Kristiansund and Nordfjordeid in the 2013–14 season made quite a mark. Vibeke Kristensen is also in great demand as a concert singer and regularly appears in oratorios and masses in Norway and Denmark.Niece 1 in 2017 was her Britten debut, and autumn 2019 we welcome her back.
