Opera at the library (spring 2019)
Bergen National Opera og Bergen Public Library present a brand new series of concerts in Amalies Hage, the library's café.
Step inside the main library in the heart of Bergen, for something delicious to eat and drink, while you enjoy a mini-concert with artists selected especially for this venue. The popular café Amalies Hage (Amalie's Garden) is named after Amalie Skram, one of Bergen's most famous authors.
A detailed programme for each concert will be announced on the BNO and library websites and on Facebook.

CARMEN AND TAPAS
Rita Therese Ziem, soprano, sings the arias from one of the most famous operas of all time - Carmen, and also music by the masters Grieg, Gershwin and Puccini. Pianist is Tor Erik Seime Pettersen, .
Free entrance (limited space). Table reservations are unfortunately not possible. The café Amalies hage is open from 8.30 AM, and will because of this concert extend its opening hours until 9.30 PM.
