Vladimir Dmitruk
The Belarusian tenor Vladimir Dmitruk won the 1st Prize in Irina Bogacheva International Voice Competition in St. Petersburg in 2011. To years later, he received the CulturArte Prize in the Operalia competition chaired by Placido Domingo.
In the 2013/14 season, Dmitruk joined Los Angeles Opera as a member of the Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program. He made his debuts in First Armoured Man/The Magic Flute, Maintop/Billy Budd and Arturo/Lucia di Lammermoor. The following season, he was engaged at Theater an der Wien and sang Lenski/Eugene Onegin, Goffredo/Rinaldo and Gonzale/L’Heure espagnole, amongst others.
Vladimir Dmitruk has visited Bergen National Opera on several occasions, like in 2017 as Cassio in Otello – and as Schmidt in Werther spring 2019.
