Pavel Nebolsin

Pavel Nebolsin graduated from Gnessin Russian Academy of music in 2008, and the following year he joined the Bolshoi Theatre’s young artist programme and became an in-house accompanist and repetiteur of the Bolshoi in 2011.

Pavel has taken part in master classes given by such renowned musicians and music educators as George Darden (Metropolitan Opera), Yevgeny Nesterenko, Irina Bogacheva and Laura Claycomb, who we know from Bergen National Opera’s productions The Golden Cockerel and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

As a prize-winning pianist, Pavel has been regularly performing with the soloists of the Bolshoi abroad, including a recital with Eugene Nesterenko. This recital marks his first appearance with Bergen National Opera.
