AN EVENING WITH FAMOUS ARIAS AND ROMANTIC DUETS

Kristina Mkhitaryan and Rame Lahaj have both won prestigious prizes and rave reviews internationally. Together they will perform their favourite arias and some of the opera's most beautiful duets for soprano and tenor in the atmospheric setting of Håkonshallen. 

RISING STARS

Kristina Mkhitaryan excited the audience in Bergen National Opera's new production of Bellini's I Capuleti e i Montecchi in 2016. She has won several prestigious prizes, including 1st prize in Queen Sonja International Music Competition in 2013 and no later than 2017, 2nd place in Placido Domingo`s Operalia, the world opera competition.

Rame Lahaj was our glorious lieutenant Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly in 2015. The tenor from Kosovo won the 1st prize in Operalia in 2016, and in the coming seasons he will hold leading roles in operas from Paris, via Korea to Helsinki and the United States.

Together Kristina and Rame will perform some of the opera's most beautiful duets for soprano and tenor. They will also present arias of their favorite composers. With Pavel Nebolsin at the piano.
