Rame Lahaj
The Kosovar tenor, Rame Lahaj, was a prizewinner in the prestigeous Operalia competion in 2016. Last season, he sang Edgardo/Lucia di Lammermoor at Opéra national de Paris, the title role of Faust in Tel Aviv, Duca/Rigoletto at Savonlinna Opera Festival as well as concerts in London and Mexico next to Placido Domingo. This season, he is singing Alfredo/La traviata in Paris and at the Bolshoi in Moscow under the leadership of Sokhiev, and Duca/Rigoletto in Helsinki and Malmo, staged by Kasper Holten. He will go on international concert tours, among others with the world-famous soprano Angela Gheorgiu. Rame Lahaj sang Pinkerton/Madama Butterfly at Bergen National Opera in 2016 to great critical acclaim.
