Olve Haugen
The tenor Olve Haugen joins us at the Viva Verd! concert at Den Nationale Scene in September.
The tenor Olve Haugen is from Hauso in Ullensvang. In the spring of 2023, he completed his bachelor's studies in classical song at the Grieg Academy in Bergen. During his studies, he participated in the choir of the Bergen National Opera and took part in several productions, such as The Merry Widow and The Magic Flute. He also has experience from several years with the Bergen Cathedral Choir and the Norwegian Youth Choir. During the Hardanger Musikkfest 2023, he was awarded the Rising Star of the Year award - an award that goes to a young talent. The jury referred to Haugen as a particularly persuasive singer with a voice that evokes nostalgia and warm associations to performers from previous generations.
Olve Haugen will participate in several concerts during the Hardanger Music Festival 2024 at the turn of August/September.
