St. Mark Passion
Expect stage and musical magic when actor Svein Tindberg, Barokksolistene and singers perform Bach's staged perforance of St. Mark Passion.
In a co-production with Bergen National Opera, celebrated Norwegian actor Svein Tindberg joins Bjarte Eike, Barokksolistene and an international team of soloists for staged performances of J.S. Bach's St. Mark Passion. These performances bring to light the latest reconstruction of this masterpiece by American musicologist Malcolm Bruno, replacing parts of the lost music of the Passion with text delivered dramatically by an actor. Svein Tindberg, singers and musicians combine to present some of Bach's most moving music.
