Tyler David Ray
Tyler David Ray is one of the eight singers in the the Norwegian vocal ensemble Edvard Grieg Kor, which also forms the core of the chorus for Bergen National Opera.
A native of Wichita, Kansas, the tenor Tyler David Ray holds a B.A. in Music from Friends University and earned his Masters degree in Early Music Voice from the Yale School of Music and Yale Institute of Sacred Music in 2016. Ray is in demand both nationally and internationally as a tenor soloist and chamber singer with a wide range of repertoire from renaissance to new works. Solo performance highlights include Handel’s Messiah with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Mozart’s Requiem with the Yale Recital Chorus and Stravinsky’s Les Noces with Yale Camerata.
