Susan Bickley

British mezzo-soprano Susan Bickley received the prestigious Singer Award at the Royal Philharmonic Society Awards 2011, the highest recognition for live classical music in the UK. She is regarded as one of the most accomplished mezzo-sopranos of her generation. Recent highlights from the operatic stage includes Geneviève at Garsington Opera, Herodias at English National Opera, Kabanicha at the Royal Opera and Quickly at The Grange Festival. Susan Bickley is also a highly acclaimed concert and recital singer stretching over a wider repertoire from Baroque to contemporary music.
