Rushana Brandanger

Rushana Brandanger is born in the city of Kazan i Russia. She worked in Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra, as a orchestra musician, as soloist and as a soloist on tour before she moved to Bergen in 2008. Brandanger has published a poetry book in Russia and has also released an album on Spotify with classical favourites which she has arranged and rewritten, and she is playing and singing herself. She is also a Grand Prix-winner in the international "Romansiade"-competition. Rushana Brandanger sings in different kind of styles like jazz, pop, classical, folk, soul and more. Her unique speciality is singing and playing her viola at the same time.
