Robert Murray
As Bob Boles in Peter Grimes autumn 2019 the tenor Robert Murray visits Bergen National Opera for the first time.
British tenor Robert Murray studied at the Royal College of Music and the National Opera Studio. He was a Jette Parker Young Artist at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. In the last years he has made a mark as 3. Angel/John in Written on Skin in Barcelona, Madrid, London and Beijing. Equally at ease in the lighter repertoire, he has sung Frederic/The Pirates of Penzance in Caen and Luxembourg, and Camille de Rosillon/The Merry Widow at English National Opera. Later this season, he will sing March Hare/Tweedledee in Alice's Adventures under Ground at the Royal Opera in London. With Bob Boles he makes his first appearance with Bergen National Opera.
