Mischa Schelomianski
In Bergen, Schelomianski appeared as the Badger and the Priest in The Cunning Little Vixen in 2013.
The Russian bass singer Mischa Schelomianski grew up in Moscow, before moving to Germany where he graduated from the Hochschule für Musik in Frankfurt. He triumphed as Prince Gremin/Evgeny Onegin in a new production at Glyndebourne 2008. As Gremin, Schelomianski has had success in several opera houses around Europe, among them Opéra National de Lyon, Oper Frankfurt and Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. Engagements for 2018 include Don Basilio/Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Metz, KingRené/Iolanta and Salieri/Mozart et Salieri by Rimsky-Korsakov in Tours, all in France.
