Lauren Fagan

The Australian soprano Lauren Fagan from Sydney studied at at London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and is a recent graduate of the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House.
She has sung Violetta in La traviata and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni for Opera Holland Park, Musetta in La bohème for Welsh National Opera, and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni with the NHK Symphony Orchestra under Paavo Järvi. Autumn 2018 she returned to the Royal Opera House as Woglinde in Der Ring des Nibelungen, and in spring 2019 she made her role debut as Alcina at the Internationale Händel-Festspiele in Karlsruhe.
Concert performances include Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with Symphoniker Hamburg and Oslo Philharmonic, Anitra in Peer Gynt with Orchestre National de Lyon as well as Tippett’s A Child of Our Time with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Autumn 2019 she made her role debut as Mimì in La bohème at Opera North.
March 2020 Lauren Fagan was to sing the role as the Vitellia in our La clemenza di Tito by Mozart, but due to Covid-19 all four performances were cancelled.
