Eva Langeland Gjerde
Soprano Eva Langeland Gjerde (26) sang Nella in Gianni Schicchi at the summer academy Opera by the fjord, and this autumn she is one of the five soloists in our concert Triple Mozart.
The lyric soprano Eva Langeland Gjerde has a bachelor degree from The Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo. She has been a soloist with the Norwegian army band Kongelige norske marines musikkorps several times.
She completed her master at The Norwegian National Academy of Opera in Oslo in June 2022. As a part of her master she sang the title role in the Nordic premiere of Rossini's Elisabetta, regina d'Inghilterra in February 2022 at Scene 2 at The Norwegian Opera & Ballet.
Eva Langeland Gjerde participated at our summer academy Opera by the Fjord both in 2021 and 2022.
In January 2023 she will make her professional house debut at The Norwegian Opera & Ballet in Elektra by Richard Strauss, as Die fünfte Magd (Fifth Mai).
