Cordelia Chisholm
The set and costume designer Cordelia Chisholm has done several designs for opera as well as theatre.
Cordelia Chisholm is a UK based set and costume designer. She studied English Literature at Cambridge University before training on the Motley Theatre Design Course. In 2017 she was nominated for best designer at the International Opera Awards.
Previous opera designs include La traviata and Queen of Spades for Opera Holland Park, Rinaldo for the Estonian National Opera, Carmen for the Scottish Opera,, Otello for Opera på Skäret and The marriage of Figaro and Peter Grimes for Surrey Opera. Chisholm has also done several designes for theatre.
Spring 2019 Chisholm designed the world premiered opera Agreed by Howard Moody for the Glyndebourne-festival.
