The Magic Flute by Mozart is one of the most loved operas worldwide. This production by Simon McBurney received rave reviews at the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam, Aix-en-Provence-festival, the English National Opera in London and at Bergen National Opera. All performances in Bergen were sold out in November 2022.

Bergen National Opera is delighted to present an Easter performance especially recorded along with Edvard Grieg Kor and singers who were part of our La clemenza di Tito, which Covid-19 forced us to cancel in March 2020. Our soloist Elisabeth Teige is one of the most sought after young dramatic sopranos in Scandinavia. We also welcome children from EGK's talent programme.
