Tim Mix
The Finnish-American bariton Tim Mix studied at Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore.
After graduation, he was invited to become a Young Pittsburgh Opera Center Artist, singing such roles as Don Fernando/Fidelio, Count Almaviva/Le Nozze de Figaro, and Mr. Flint/Billy Budd. In the 2016/17 season, Tim Mix debuted at Finnish National Opera as Escamillo/Carmen. Other career highlights include Ping/Turandot at the Los Angeles Philharmonic as well as at Portland Opera, and Ford/Falstaff at New York City Opera. In Juli and August 2018 Tim Fix will sing the role as Jack Hubbard/Doctor Atomic at The Santa Fe Opera. The role of Albert marks his first appearance at Bergen National Opera.
