Mari Eriksmoen

Mari Eriksmoen is a Norwegian lyric soprano who studied at the Norwegian Academy of Music, the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris and the Royal Danish Opera Academy in Copenhagen. She made her international breakthrough as Zerbinetta in Richard Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos at Theater an der Wien in 2010.

Since then, she has appeared at leading opera houses and festivals including those in Vienna, Zurich, Munich, Frankfurt, Aix-en-Provence and Glyndebourne. Her repertoire includes a particular affinity for Mozart roles such as Pamina, Susanna, Zerlina and Fiordiligi, as well as roles such as Mélisande in Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande.

Mari Eriksmoen made her house debut on our Main Stage as Pamina in The Magic Flute in 2022. She now sings Agnès in Written on Skin for the first time.
