Maia Reppe

Maia Reppe is a Norwegian Mezzo-soprano.

Maia Reppe (b. 1996) is a Norwegian mezzo-soprano based in Trondheim. She holds a master's degree in classical singing from the, and has also taken private lessons with Damiana Pinti at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in Italy.

Maia has received a number of scholarships and awards, including the Sparebank 1 Østlandets talent scholarship, a cultural scholarship from Trøndelag County Council, the Lilly Foundation and the Gunnar Løkken Memorial Prize.

As a performer, she has performed roles such as Cherubino (The Marriage of Figaro) for Opera Nordfjord, Bathsheba (David & Bathsheba) for Trondheim Symphony Orchestra and Opera, Hans (Hans and Gretel) for Opera ved Fjorden (mini production) and Liesl (Sound of Music), Papagena, 2nd lady (The Magic Flute), etc. for Opera di Setra. As a concert soloist, she has worked with, among others, the Norwegian Air Force Band, Ila Brass Band and a number of other choirs, orchestras and bands, and she has sung for the Edvard Grieg Vocal Ensemble, Trondheim Vocal Ensemble, Vokal Nord and the self-established Nidaros Vokal.

In the spring of 2026, she will premiere the role of Noah in The Night People, a co-production by Bergen International Festival and Bergen National Opera w/Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and Edvard Grieg Choirs, The Norwegian Opera & Ballet, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera and Den Nationale Scene. The opera will go on tour to Trondheim Symphony Orchestra and the Norwegian Opera & Ballet.
