Kitty Whately

The British mezzo-soprano trained at Chetham’s School of Music, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and the Royal College of Music International Opera School. Operatic highlights include Rosina/Il barbiere di Siviglia and Stewardess/Flight, both at Holland Park, and Cherubino/Le nozze di Figaro at the Verbier Festival and Dorabella/Cosi fan tutte with English Touring Opera. Last season, she sang Sesto Pompeo/Guilio Cesare and created Mother and Other Mother in Mark-Anthony Turnage’s new opera Coraline at Royal Opera in London.
