Jonathan Lipman

The experienced British costume designer John Lipman has contributed to many productions, among them several at Charing Chross Theatre in London, like the dark comedy Harold and Maude spring 2018, the Andrew Lloyd Webber-musical The Woman in White, the musical Ragtime and Gilbert and Sullivan's comic opera The Mikado. Two other operatic productions to be mentioned are Un Ballo in Maschera and Die Fledermaus, both at King’s Head Theatre with Opera Up Close, and also as UK and West End Tours. Lipman was also costume designer for Fiddler on the Roof at Menier Chocolate Factory in London and for the groundbreaking love story Summer in London at Theatre Royal, Stratford East.
