Hilde Toresdatter Tangen
The Norwegian soprano Hilde Toresdatter Tangen has sung roles as Adele and Gilda – and spring 2020 she will make her debut as Adina in The Elixir of Love.
Hilde Toresdatter Tangen is a soprano from Trondheim. In December 2019 she received her Post Graduate Diploma in singing at the University of Stavanger, under professor Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz. She has also studied in Terni and in Rome, Italy.
Since 2017 she has performed in Norway and abroad, among others as Adele in Die Fledermaus and Gilda in Rigoletto (both in Stavanger Concerthall), as La Marchesa in La Cecchina (Rome), Lucy in The Telephone (in the three Norwegian cities Tromsø, Stavanger og Sandnes) and in the passion En kvinne fra Jerusalem by Wolfgang Plagge (Stavanger Cathedral).
Summer 2019 she sang Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro in Weimar, Germany. Spring 2020 she will make her debut as Adina in Europa InCanto’s production of L'elisir d'amore (The Elixir of Love) in Italy.
