Christopher Cardoso

Christopher Cardoso is a dancer and actor whose artistic roots lie in breaking. With more than 15 years of stage experience, he has worked extensively across dance, theatre and musical theatre, including productions at Den Nationale Scene, Det Vestnorske Teateret and Chat Noir. As a long-standing member of Absence, he has toured throughout Norway and appeared in a wide range of dance and theatre productions. His credits include the role of the adult Billy in the musical Billy Elliot, as well as appearances in Wendy & Peter Pan, Flashdance and Dyrehagen Hardanger.

Through Absence Crew, he has also helped develop productions combining breaking, theatre and storytelling, including Sirkus Absence, created in collaboration with choreographer and director Jo Strømgren. Based in Bergen, Cardoso works as a freelance dancer and actor. He is a member of the company Bravo and is currently performing in the dance production Houdini – Breakin Out with Andreas Roksvåg.
